About the Book:
Successful, beautiful, outgoing, and . . . alone for Christmas. What’s a girl to do? One thing Audrey Wells will not do is compromise. She has solid friends, a great career in real estate, and a treasured sailboat passed down to her from her father. And it is aboard this boat that she intends to share a portion of her holiday with her friends. Her gift to them will be taking them out on Christmas Eve and participating in the Christmas Ship Parade on Lake Washington – something she has done many times, but not since her father passed away three years ago. However, her carefully laid plans quickly turn sour when a dog, owned by her new, and as yet unknown neighbor at the marina, playfully greets her by accidentally knocking her very expensive present-to-herself Louboutin shoes overboard. This crisis leads to a series of events Audrey could never have foreseen, and a Christmas filled with more hope than she could ever have hoped.
