Eden’s Fall
Book 1
Sarah Daltry
Genre: New Adult Urban Fantasy Romance (18+)
Publisher: Escape Publishing
Date of Publication: December 1, 2013
Book Description:
For fans of dark urban fantasy comes a novel that questions why forbidden fruit is always the most tempting…
A vampire-themed masquerade party isn’t really her scene, but Nora is sick of frat parties and bars. When she meets Alec, the appeal suddenly becomes clear. It’s obvious that they’ve been struck by the same intense mutual attraction, but Alec keeps his distance. Intrigued despite herself, Nora pushes a little deeper — and discovers Alec’s unimaginable secret…
Nora is not afraid of following Alec into the darkness, but the choice is soon taken from her. Someone is hunting her — someone tied to the secret and desperate to see it play out. But when Nora finally meets her aggressor, she finds herself hopelessly drawn to him. She needs to make a choice between the two men, but can she save them both, knowing one is destined to die?
“This book is one of the best paranormals I’ve read, and I’ve read a lot. Five stars hands down! I am proud to pass it on to all of you. Buy this book, devour it and enjoy.”

MRP would like to extend a very warm welcome to Sarah Daltry, author of Bitter Fruits. Sarah, to begin, can you tell us who or what most influenced you to become a writer?
I can’t say anything really did because I have always written. Stories are part of who I am and I just naturally told them as soon as I could.
If you were to be left alone on an island, what three books would you take with you?
The Sun Also Rises, Days of Blood and Starlight, and 13 Little Blue Envelopes.
What are your most and least favorite movie
genres?
Favorite is horror. Least
favorite is romance.
If you could choose any man for your next book
cover, who would he be?
Christian Bale.
When you are on a deadline, what aspect of your
‘regular’ life suffers most?
Cleaning.
What advice would you give aspiring authors?
Honestly? Don’t do it. I love
writing, but I sincerely regret ever publishing.
What advice would you give seasoned writers?
All success and failure is based
on readers, on real people, and on the way you treat others.
When reading for pleasure, do you prefer a
physical or electronic book?
Physical.
From the first stroke of a pen (or laptop), how
long did it take you get published?
This is my first novel so it took
me a couple months to write it and it was accepted a few days after I
self-published it.
Did
you ever feel like calling it quits?
Yes. All the time. I have quit
and a couple of readers refused to let me so now I mostly avoid interacting
with anyone and let them handle all my media stuff. If you are curious to why,
go ahead and Google me. Everyone else thinks they know everything there is to
know about me and feels entitled to speak for me. Now, I have nothing left to
say about it.
What
did you do when you got your first contract?
Waited for my husband to wake up
and told him.
